Street Art has been around for decades now since it’s crude beginnings in the form of graffiti. This was originally thought to be a menace to society. But as the creativity of artist became more innovative, the art form evolved, and the general public learned accept and even appreciate this type of art. With the help of the internet artist like Banksy, Space Invader, and Shepard Fairey thrived and rose to become international stars.
Street art was always thought of as the ultimate form of pure art. Most street artist do what they do for nothing other then to express themselves in the form of their artwork. Nobody buys their work, and they don’t get paid to do it. On the contrary, they risk fines and possible jail time for endeavoring in their craft. For the risk they run, they earn the right to be seen as the rebel “rock stars” of the art community. But with all this attention from the masses, it was only a matter of time before corporate giants would find a way to exploit it for profits and gain. And this is what your seeing here. Some might argue that this might be a way for street artist to make some money for their work. But is that worth tainting the pure and free creativity of the art with corporate agendas?

Back in April we were called on to shoot a dance sequence for our friend Remy Pierre and the “Lionz Den” dance crew, in the mist of setting up we messed around and did a few shots for Jacques Mordoki as he mixed it up on the turntables. Pieced it up over the weekend and here it is. If you’re in need of a DJ, shoot him an email at JaQMcFly@gmail.com or visit him at
